My booster gets hot / warm. Is it ok?

Print Friendly and PDF Print

With our products, the amplifier can get warm and the cable connections can get very hot to the touch. Amplifiers can operate 20 degrees over ambient temperature, possibly reaching temperatures of 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat on the booster does not reflect poor performance and your booster should still maintain functionality. For instance, our cradle boosters do get warm and the antenna connector does get hot to the touch - we recommend only touching this when the booster is powered off and you are adjusting antennas/cabling. If you feel like your booster is producing too much heat, and you are not seeing any signal improvement, please contact us at 866-294-1660 or our online support at support@wilsonelectronics.com
